Palauan War Club

In ancient Palau, this war club was a weapon of choice for warriors of special force who were mostly engaged in escort missions. In those days, high ranking chiefs did not travel to other villages without security escort for fear of getting beheaded along the way.
This weapon gained its fame after it was used by Ngirabins, Warlord of Ngriil Village, Ngerchelong State, to escort High Chief Ibedul of Koror from Idid to Nnermid, Koror.
